Our people
We care about what our people think, it's embedded in our values and, in turn, our people feel confident to share their honest thoughts and opinions. We carry out anonymous pulse surveys to gain feedback and continually aim to improve. Our goal is to create a positive experience for our people, boosting their time with us via a quarterly engagement and wellbeing calendar of activities aligned to our values. Act4Good, volunteering, and environmental actions
Our values underpin our sustainability journey, and we have a set of environmental targets mapped out to improve our environmental performance. Our people can give a percentage of their time each year to volunteer and give back to the communities around us. Our anniversary programs also encourage giving back, with our team often found cleaning the beaches, planting trees, or volunteering with local charities.

Engineering, Technology and Product
Our Engineering team is pivotal in shaping the future of enterprise resource planning (ERP) with cutting-edge technologies. We develop and sell our own ERP solutions at Unit4, not as a consultancy, but as innovators in the field. From advanced data centers and multi-cloud infrastructure to our robust continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) architecture, we strive for excellence in everything we do.
The team consists of product and quality managers, documentation developers, CloudOps, DevOps, UX designers, integration engineers, data scientists, and solution designers. Each year our Engineering team is pivotal in our Crazy Lab Days initiative to develop internal ideas and bring them to life for the organization and our customers. Finance and Data
Finance is the custodian of our performance, steering enterprise-level performance and providing guidance on how the company assigns valuable resources. Unit4’s Finance team has transformed significantly, and it encompasses a broad range of activities beyond traditional accounting, financial reporting, and procurement. Finance professionals at Unit4 play a critical role in shaping business strategy by providing data-driven insights and analytics that support decision-making.
We have specialist teams such as our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and the Data teams, focused on value creation activities, and we use advanced data analytics to provide predictive insights, scenario planning, and risk management.
Legal
The Legal team plays a critical role in the success of Unit4, our people, and our customers. It sits at the heart of our organization as a key business partner and provides first-class advice and support to Unit4 globally. It manages legal and other risks, advises on strategic initiatives, provides transactional support, oversees litigation, interprets laws and regulations that impact Unit4, and advises Unit4 on other matters such as employment, compliance, privacy, artificial intelligence (AI), and environmental social, and governance (ESG).
The Legal team members are spread globally with a reputation as highly skilled professionals who are an integral part of the business. The Legal team is committed to a culture of inclusivity and belonging, where people can grow and succeed throughout their careers, and by placing importance on development and training.
People Experience
Our people strategy, policies, and touchpoints throughout our employee lifecycle heavily influence the experience of our people. The People Experience team (PX) drives company culture to unite and engage our people in our purpose, to enable and recognize performance, and to do right for our customers and Unit4.
The PX team creates enriching, supportive, and meaningful career journeys for all, covering: PX operations, talent acquisition, learning and development, reward and benefits, people engagement, workplace experience, and internal communications.
IT
Corporate IT assumes full responsibility for all technology aspects, operating an IT "as a Service" model to provide comprehensive support and enablement to the business functions. We understand that the success of our company is heavily influenced by our IT strategy, policies, and initiatives throughout each part of our digital lifecycle.
Our IT strategy is to drive our company culture focused on enhancing agility and scalability, optimizing processes and resources, ensuring seamless service delivery, and engaging our business stakeholders. We aim to achieve this while creating enriching, supportive, and meaningful experiences for everyone involved.
The key areas within IT are strategy and architecture, business relationship and project management office (PMO), enterprise applications and solutions, support, infrastructure and operations, and IT governance.
Marketing and Communications
Marketing and communications are the art and science of engaging customers and prospects through a combination of brand and demand activities. Our marketers use techniques to focus on, industries, markets, and regions. The connection between marketing and sales is critical to ensure that the pipeline generated is the right quality and quantity to support our business targets. Our teams, build campaigns using a mixture of email, social media, content syndication, web, content marketing, analyst relations, PR, customer references, and online advertising to attract new and existing customers. This enables us to foster relationships through customer marketing activities.
Our Communications team connects our brand and marketing activities to show what our company stands for and enables customers, prospects, and our people to recognize Unit4 as a relevant partner that shares their values and understands their needs.
Go-to-Market (GTM)
Our Go-to-Market (GTM) team is instrumental in the development and growth of Unit4, and in achieving our vision of empowering businesses and people to focus on what really matters – helping our customers to realize the value of our solutions to do just that.
As our face in the market, they have an essential role in driving sustainable revenue growth, building relationships, demonstrating our solutions and processes with existing and new customers, and working with our partner ecosystem to best meet the needs of those customers.
Together, our Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams develop comprehensive go-to-market business plans to attract and retain customers and to continue positioning our brand. They are results-driven, energetic, and hands-on professionals who know our company, our strategy, our products, and everything in between.
Customer Success
Customer Success at Unit4 is focused on rapidly landing our customers on our Cloud platforms, assisting them to adopt new capabilities, facilitating their expansion to our enrichment applications, and thereby earning the right to their subscription renewal.
Our teams span disciplines from centralized service creation through success planning, education, support, consulting, managed services, transformation, continual improvement, and operations. We fulfill these outcomes via our ground-breaking Success4U subscription, a companion to our SaaS subscriptions, which contains all the services our customers need to get onto our platforms and benefit from their immediate value.
Customer Success is deeply integrated into feedback loops with our Product Management and Go-To-Market teams, regularly contributing to winning engagements, product roadmaps, and product innovation. Finally, and most importantly, we place a premium on knowledge sharing, collaboration, work-life balance, and gaining fantastic experience by working with our amazing customers.
Customer Support
The Customer Support team is at the forefront of delivering exceptional assistance and enhancing user experiences. This dynamic team thrives on solving complex challenges, continuous learning, and customer-centricity. The team facilitates platform issue resolution through a library of digital self-help content via knowledge articles and web/chat support with world-class response rates, customer engagement, and resolution methods. We offer enhanced premium, white-glove services that complement baseline Support service level agreements (SLAs). They are not just problem solvers but are customer advocates who prioritize clear communication, empathy, and efficiency.
Our key areas in Customer Support are product support, system analysts, global escalation management, and service improvement.
Professional Services
Our Professional Services team plays a pivotal role in the rapid and effective onboarding of customers to Unit4 platforms. The team drives ongoing adoption through structured and impactful consulting activities. They define and deliver outcome-based component services, accelerating Unit4 goals and customer time-to-value. By leveraging Cloud Migrations, Managed Application Services, and Data Migration Services, we enhance the delivery capabilities of our Professional Services and Success Management teams and our Channel Partners.
The team knowledge shares and helps create a best-practice IP, to shape the future of our industry. They engage with our Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmaps and utilize valuable field feedback. They form part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional results and driving success for our customers. The key areas within the Professional Services team are project management office, functional and technical consulting, managed services, migration services, and global resource management.
