Unit4 is seeking a passionate data savvy Web Optimization & Analytics Manager to join the Corporate Marketing Web team. In this role the candidate will dive into web analytics & clickstream data as well as offline data to uncover opportunities for site experience optimization. The position will report directly to the Senior Web Development Manager.

You will be responsible for identifying, measuring, and monitoring key performance indicators and will develop data driven recommendations that drive positive business outcomes through A/B testing and CRO.  You will also enable stakeholders with actionable, insightful measurement and performance reporting & analysis. 

General Responsibilities

  • Reporting/Analysis - Responsible for and own the tracking, tagging, reporting and analysis and optimization of unit4.com websites
  • Data Quality - Ensuring the quality, and consistency of data in Google Analytics. Working across departments to understand what factors may be affecting data.
  • Owning CRO for the unit4.com websites, managing the process, creating the CRO plan, liaising with stakeholders to discuss CRO opportunities
  • Analysis and reporting of CRO results
  • Creating split test URL pages for CRO tests using the CMS, working with team members when needed for imagery and content
  • Manage international SEO agency, making sure they have all the information they need to complete the work and Unit4’s needs are met
  • Ad hoc support for internal stakeholders on tracking and analysis (e.g. pixel implementation, reviewing data accuracy, problem-solving) as well as SEO enquiries
  • Use of google Data Studio (Looker Studio) for data visualization, liaising with stakeholders to gather requirements and create reports
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to the business when required, working with the relevant business stakeholders to understand needs and priorities 
  • Organizing and attending quarterly organic search reviews with key stakeholders
  • Knowledge/experience of SEO (on page, technical etc.)
  • Working with web team members to ensure any SEO, and tracking requirements are met as websites evolve.
  • Lead migration of GA4

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be familiar with a wide range of site analytics & A/B Testing tools like Google Analytics & Google Optimize. They will also have a robust mix of technical and communication skills as well as strong data storytelling and data visualization abilities.  The Web Optimization & Analytics Manager will collaborate with other Marketing Analytics team members as well as the other groups within the organization including UI/UX, Channel & Brand Managers, SEO Manager and outside SEO agencies and IT.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong working relationships
  • Strong leadership presence with ability to lead, influence, and direct projects and processes across multiple teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Google Analytics, GA4, Tag Manager and Data Studio (Now called Looker Studio)
  • Experience using a CMS, i.e., Drupal
  • Use of regular expressions/JavaScript
  • Knowledge of GDPR
  • Knowledge of UX beneficial
  • Knowledge of PowerBI, beneficial not required
  • Experience of website CRO tools, for example Convert and Optimize.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in web analytics and A/B testing.  Experience working with large datasets, writing queries, structuring reports
  • Highly proficient in Google Analytics Tools (GA4, Google Anlytics, Google Data Studio); This includes tagging and administration
  • Experience with reporting and visualization tools
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO)
  • Hands on experience with experimentation tools such or A/B testing tools
