Job Description

As of June 1, 2022, Scanmarket has been acquired by Unit4, a leader in enterprise cloud applications for mid-market people-centric organizations. Scanmarket is a source-to-contract software provider that develops advanced functionalities in an effortless design. Originating from the needs of the end user, Scanmarket’s S2C solution is attuned to meet the needs of the procurement professional. We are an energetic team across our offices in Denmark, USA, United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Switzerland, and Germany. You will become a key part of our Quick Call team that provides instant support to buyers as well as their suppliers in large, global companies across many different industries.

You will be supporting our Consultants and Customer Success Managers with a wide variety of tasks. 

You will get a chance to participate in different Customer meetings such as Implementation meetings, Annual Business Review meetings, Upsell meetings etc.

You will also be given your own project(s). The type of project will depend on the final candidate's competencies and preferences.

We offer an exciting and challenging unpaid internship in a company with a casual and positive atmosphere. Interaction with various departments at Scanmarket and daily contact with large, international organizations will help you gain great insights into Procurement and Sourcing projects. Your skills will be challenged, and innovative ideas are welcomed. A great variety in tasks will provide you with the opportunity to find out where your strengths and competencies lie.

After the internship, you can expect a wide variety of enhanced skills, e.g., within MS Excel, direct and intercultural communication, IT & software, writing & presentations, support, problem-solving, language skills and more. The right person will have the opportunity for a permanent or part-time employment after the internship.

Internship duration: A minimum duration of five months (August to January). Workplace: Our headquarters in Solbjerg, south of Aarhus, with the possibility of work-from-home days.

Qualifications

  • You most likely have an international profile and are currently enrolled in a BSc/MSc program (Cand.merc. IB, Economics, Logistics and Supply Chain Management or similar)
  • You have experience with or an understanding of Global Sourcing and/or Procurement
  • You are an experienced user of MS Office
  • You speak and write English fluently. Danish or additional languages are a plus but not a requirement
  • You are ambitious, results-oriented and you take an analytical and strategic approach to working
  • You are outgoing, service minded, persistent and enjoy dealing with customers and partners
