A "community of practice" (CoP) is a group of individuals within an organisation who share a common interest or expertise in a particular field or practice area. Members of a CoP collaborate to share knowledge, insights, and best practices with each other, and work together to improve their skills and capabilities. As the CoP Lead, you will identify appropriate CoP’s across Unit4 and facilitate a regular cadence, leveraging data to drive the discussion and ensuring that the collective expertise of these groups actively improves our customer offerings.
Typical responsibilities of the CoP Lead in the Success Engineering team will include setting the Vision and Goals of the Communities of Practice, facilitating the Communities approach to enable achievement of them and reporting on progress against defined metrics to ensure visibility of impact across the stakeholder group. You will build strong relationships with the stakeholders, promoting the objectives of CoP and ensuring organisational support by providing a mechanic through which they can enable teams and build capacity and knowledge.
Applying robust Knowledge management principles, you will ensure that our knowledge and best practice assets are kept current, organised, and accessible, making sure that our users are aware of and trained in the use of the collateral, engaging the organisation in its development and maintenance so that feedback is recognised and incorporated to drive continual improvement.
You will demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills, a collaborative mindset, coupled with analytical skills to identify trends, patterns and insights, with a continuous improvement focus to improve our knowledge management processes and more importantly, the ability to drive adoption of the material.
A background in knowledge management or product documentation management would be beneficial with knowledge of best practices and technologies to enable effective knowledge sharing. Demonstrable experience of building knowledge within a Customer Success environment is preferable and experience working alongside a dedicated Education function would be beneficial.
