Join Unit4's Engineering Academy, gain technical experience in an international team, grow and stay with us. Our 4 months training is a perfect opportunity to gain your first commercial experience.
As an Intern Software Engineer you will support the Scrum team in delivering software based on user stories. You will contribute to the quality of the user stories focusing on the need for clean and maintainable software. You will be an active participant in daily stand-ups and interation planning meetings.
We are looking for Interns located at any location in Poland.
What you will do?
- You will support engineers in defining the software design for implementing the user stories ensuring it complies with the architectural vision and the simplicity of design rules.
- You will write the code and the unit tests for implementing the user stories, following the Test Driven Development methodology
- You will take part in planning and grooming sessions during sprints
- You will support engineers in delivering immediate fixes for urgent defects
Qualifications
- strong technical skills and attention to detail
- knowledge of programming languages C# and SQL
- foundation in data structures, algorithms, principals, web programming concepts
- basic understanding on Object Oriented Programming concepts (SOLID)
- public cloud knowledge (SaaS, IaaS, Paas, containers etc.)
- analytical thinking and quick learning ability
- great team player
- fluency in English
- fluency in Polish
Must have:
- strong interest in programming
- Availity 30h per week (flexible schedule)
- willingness to stay with us longer (possibility of joining Unit4 full time as a junior developer)
