Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Integration Engineer to join our team, with a primary focus on our key integration platform, Boomi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the development and administration of Boomi, as well as a solid understanding of integrating various enterprise platforms. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between critical systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to design and develop scalable and efficient integrations using Boomi.
- Create and manage integration workflows between systems like ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics 365, OKTA and ERP.
- Develop and manage API-based integrations to ensure seamless communication between SaaS and/ or on-premise systems.
- Build and document API interfaces for use by internal and external systems.
- Work with stakeholders to streamline and automate manual processes through integration and automation tools.
- Monitor integration performance and optimize for improved reliability and speed.
- Implement logging, alerting, and monitoring systems to ensure that integrations are functioning as expected.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all integration processes.
- Follow industry best practices for system integration, API management, security, and data governance.
- Administer the Boomi platform, ensuring its efficient operation, monitoring, and scaling of integration processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Boomi development and administration.
- Strong knowledge of Boomi architecture, process building, and deployment.
- Experience with integration platforms and workflow automation tools like Power Automate is a plus.
- Experience integrating systems such as ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics 365, OKTA, and ERP.
- Known with integration patterns in application-to-application integrations with databases, api’s, webservices and sftp on various formats and authentication methods.
- Strong experience in API integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML).
- Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation, and error handling within integrations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot integration-related issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple integration projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Boomi Certification, Azure or API management) are a plus.
- Good English level.
