Job Description

As a Cloud Operations Engineer (APAC) you will be responsible for configuration management, performance and security monitoring of customer services.

  • You will be responsible for deployment and release of customer software on the Unit4 cloud platform;
  • You will help automate and streamline processes of software deployment and configuration management with support of scripting tools (i.e. PowerShell and JSON);
  • You will work in close interaction with Customer Support team in customer issues analysis, prioritization and resolution;
  • Deploy services according to IT best practices for security, governance, identity access management, and monitoring;
  • Install, configure and maintain Active Directory and third-party software utilities for hardware systems within company operational guidelines;
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all server resources;
  • Perform on-call support activities on a regular rotation.

Qualifications

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology or any other relevant area;
  • You have +1 year experience in deployment of software applications and IT operations;
  • Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery anywhere possible;
  • Experience in AWS and MS Azure would be an advantage.
  • Experience in automation and scripting languages (such as PowerShell), MS SQL and Windows operating systems;
  • Ability to prioritize and work individually and as part of a team;
  • Strong troubleshooting skills including the ability to identify and resolve challenging situations;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • Experience in a customer-facing IT support capacity.
