Simon Paris

Simon Paris is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, including leadership positions with Finastra, SAP, and Infor. He was also a senior consultant with McKinsey & Company. He most recently served as CEO at Finastra, a global provider of financial services software applications, where he led its transformation and growth strategy to become one of the largest FinTech companies in the world. He is also on the Board of Directors for Thomson Reuters.

As CEO of Unit4, Simon’s priorities will be to drive value, engagement, and results for the company’s customers, partners, employees, and stakeholders, and through those priorities, drive long-term, sustainable SaaS growth. 

Simon is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, jointly winning the Vista CEO Award for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG). He has been named a top 50 CEO  by the Financial Technology Report annually since 2020, recognized in the CEO Today Awards 2021, a top 20 CEO in Europe by the Software Report 2022, took the #1 spot of the Top 50 Financial Technology CEOs of 2024,  as well as having won the Lifetime Achievement Award at The Global FinTech Awards 2024.

Simon holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA (Hons) from the European Business School. He is married to Mariola and together, they have three children. Simon and Mariola have lived and worked in France, Russia, Spain, the UK, and the US. They both have a passion for travel and culture. Simon is also a fan of classic cars.
