Job Description

Manage Analytics/Reporting Roadmap & Plan:  With Sales, Marketing, and IT, develop, and manage roadmap for new dashboards, insights capabilities, and team training/adoption plans for various dashboards/reports:  lead/pipeline funnel, multi-touch campaigns, buyers journey, multi-touch attribution, investment/ROI, etc.

Gather Stakeholder Requirements:  Gather requirements across a diverse end user audience (executive leadership, team managers, campaign managers, web/digital team, events team, field marketing, etc.) to define key strategic/business questions to answer with data, insights needed, user experience needs, and preferred dashboard visualization views.

Build & Deliver PowerBI & CRM Dashboards:  Based on prioritized team requirements, design, build and test real-time analytics dashboards.  Build/deliver training to end users to ensure analytics ‘self-serve’ model.  Deliver weekly/monthly dashboards for ongoing execution as well as quarterly business reviews.

Actionable Insights Thought Leadership:  Based on dashboards/reports, monitor and assess dashboards/data to provide thought leadership, actionable insights and strategy/execution recommendations to executive leadership and marketing teams on campaign program performance, marketing impact to pipeline/revenue, multi-touch buyer journey, funnel performance, and ROI.

Test & Optimize:  Drive bi-weekly test/optimize process and plan which defines the hypothesis and  test cases, evaluates test results, and drives deployment of outcomes to optimize campaigns, web experience, etc.

Data Management:  Drive data governance, data health/quality, and compliance through GDPR ensuring controls are in place for data acquisition, enrichment, data deletion, etc. Owns data integrity projects including data backup, purging, enrichment and standardization.

CRM: Represent Marketing as a key stakeholder for CRM enhancements.   

Marketing Technology Platforms & Integrations:  Involved in existing platforms and new platform evaluations, integration plans, testing, and data flows to ensure reporting/analytics requirements are met.  


5+ years of experience in data driven marketing and analytics, dashboard and reporting development with successful track record delivering dashboards/reporting for self-serve model, weekly/monthly reporting, and executive leadership reporting through agile methodology.

PowerBI:  3-5+ years hands-on experience working with PowerBI to integrate data across multiple marketing, CRM (e.g. Salesforce, Dynamic) and platforms such as web (e.g. Google Analytics), proactive chat (e.g. Drift), marketing automation/email (Marketo), ABM (e.g. Terminus, Demandbase), events/webinars (e.g. Cvent, ON24), content marketing, multi-touch attribution (e.g. Bizible, CalibreMind, etc.)   Ability to create intuitive, impactful PowerBI user experience for menus, dashboard design, and filtering of views. & Dynamics:  Deep, hands-on knowledge and experience working with data integration and end-to-end marketing/sales workflows for various CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics)

Marketing Experience:  Beyond strong analytics and dashboard/reporting experience, candidate must have knowledge and experience in modern marketing best practices and at least 2+ years in one or more marketing roles – e.g. demand generation campaigns, digital/web marketing, product marketing, etc.

Buyer’s Journey & Lead-to-Pipeline Process:  Understanding of the work-flow, data, and tools (e.g. Marketo, Dynamics, Salesforce, Google Analytics) for the multi-touch buyer’s journey across multiple touchpoints (e.g. web, 3rd party sites, email, events, content syndication, etc.) and for end-to-end lead to pipeline flow (customer/prospect engagement, leads, inquiries, MQL, SAL, SQL, etc. stages across marketing, inside business development, and sales/channel teams.)

End User Needs:  Deep understanding of marketing and sales end user’s data needs.

Intensely Curious:  Strong interest in the latest developments, industry trends, and best practices for digital marketing, analytics and marketing/data technology platforms. 

Communications: Excellent communication skills - ability to make complex analytics understandable to broader teams and to evangelize the utilization of analytics to accelerate marketing and business goals

Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.

Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, channels, and IT teams.

Strong collaboration skills and clear communication style with the ability to influence, inspire and align multiple stakeholders and work effectively across teams.
