This opportunity is for a Sr. Project Manager specializing in the implementation of Student Information Systems who is looking to grow within the Unit4 Professional Services group. The candidate will possess a strong background in managing the implementation of SaaS ERP or Student Information System solutions. This is a client facing role, and requires an excellent understanding of business processes, and excellent communication, customer service, problem solving, cognitive and people skills. The candidate will partner with customers as well as Unit4 Implementation Consultants, offshore Data Conversion and Reporting consultants on one or more project teams. The candidate must be able to take responsibility and accept accountability for customer engagements.

Job Description

As Project Manager the candidate will:

• Act as strategic lead for SaaS implementation projects, ensuring the highest quality standard delivery and client satisfaction from start to finish 
• Build and maintain durable and trusted relationships with internal teams and client stakeholders while ensuring accountability from all parties
• Create and maintain drumbeat for the timeline of the project that adheres to the scope of work and Unit4 delivery best practices
• Manage project scope, timeline, budget, risks and issues across multiple projects for different accounts simultaneously
• Lead project-based risk mitigation including investigating root causes to client and project issues and propose effective solutions, clear internal communication to attain solution and timely communication with client on status
• Participate and facilitate on-site client meetings
• Articulate and frame business problems and solutions as appropriate for all audiences
• Monitor and report progress / changes against the project plan
• Use your problem-solving skills in order to come up with the best business solution for your customer.

• You have a Bachelor degree, or equivalent, in a relevant field
• Must have 5+ years in Higher Education Sector
• You have 5+ years’ experience in Project Management
• 5+ years’ experience in SaaS ERP or Student Information System implementation within Higher Education Sector
• Experience managing SaaS software implementation projects including balancing budget, timeline, scope, and resource availability
• Self-starter with proven ability to work within a team-oriented environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
