Job Description

We are seeking a Global Product Marketing Manager to develop messaging, positioning and competitive intelligence within our business. This position will also support industry marketing areas and help drive the go-to-market strategies of our campaign and field marketing teams.

What you will do:

  • Work closely with customers, analysts, thought leaders, sales, and product management to build the global messaging and positioning of our products along with one of our core industries
  • Develop an intimate understanding of the needs of our customers, the market and competitor solutions/messaging to differentiate the positioning of our products
  • Create compelling sales materials such as presentation decks, demo scripts, training materials, white papers, thought leadership content and competitive briefs to drive sales traction for your products and industry
  • Work closely with product management to plan and execute successful product launches. Translate new features and capabilities into customer-facing communications that will increase customer and market adoption.
  • Drive the success of your products across the sales and extended go-to-market team through ongoing training and development activities
  • Evangelize your products through tradeshows, webinars and other customer-facing events
  • Collect and analyze market sizing, sales, customer and prospect feedback to inform strategy while partnering with sales to conduct win-loss analyses to uncover trends and opportunities
  • Work with our customer reference team to identify and develop compelling case studies that connect Unit4 with strong business outcomes for our customers

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of product or solution marketing experience in enterprise/B2B software
  • Must have experience marketing, ERP, talent management or other HR software
  • Must have experience working sales teams
  • Industry/vertical marketing experience desired
  • Global marketing experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data to prove results and identify trends
  • Experience using sales automation (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) to understand accounts and deals
  • Experience with win/loss analysis preferred
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, especially presenting at events, webinars and to internal audiences
  • Planning and results-focused with a strong ability to meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, information technology or another related field is required
