Job Description

How can Resource better support and collaborate and integrated with Profissional Service!

Be part of the Resource Planner Community Establishment of a global standard process: consistent experience for all irrespective of where in the world the project is being delivered and where the consultants are based.

Knowledge sharing and learning: within the GRM community and in the promotion of cross-border working for consultants, greater opportunities to work with colleagues, and learning experience across the global portfolio of professional services projects.

Consistent management information available: enabling the business to better understand performance both historical and forecasted and be better prepared for opportunities in our sales pipeline.

Increased visibility of and improved utilisation: participating providing a global view or our people, their skills and availability, matching the right people to the right positions.

Close collaboration with Practice Managers: to get a better understanding of consultants learning paths and look for opportunities that support development goals.

Making visible skills gaps and supporting recruitment and training plans: feeding back into the business a global view of demand versus supply to support business recruitment and training decisions.

Qualifications

You can manage resources in a dynamic and supportive manner. You’re organised and diligent, but personable and love interacting with people and working closely with your colleagues. Your curiosity and open-mindedness mean that you encourage innovation, positive change and resilience. You’re always looking for opportunities to improve and actively seek feedback and input from teams to make sure that they feel involved in embedding best practices. You take pride in producing great quality deliverables and are constructive in your feedback on the work of others.

We ask:

  • Have 3+ years relevant experience
  • Have excellent organisational, attention to detail and time management skills
  • Have commercial judgement and acumen
  • Are adept at managing multiple priorities
  • Are capable of communicating clearly
  • Are quick to build effective and collaborative working relationships
  • Are calm and adaptable in the face of ambiguity and in a fast-paced, quick-changing environment
  • Are methodical and logical in problem-solving
  • Are proficient in MS - Excel, Word, Project and Outlook.
  • Language required - English (mandatory), Dutch, Germany and Nordic language as a plus

Why is Resource Planning Important?

In simple terms, effective resource management is about thorough planning, informed scheduling and allocation of resources, having and extremely important component of successful project delivery

What you will do:

  • Manage long, medium and short-term resourcing forecasts
  • Establish a clear mechanism for tracking and reporting variances for pipeline and contracted work
  • Responsibility for the resource management system, including scheduling and allocation
  • Manage resourcing requests and queries relating to project allocations, 
  • Manage pipeline and vacancy management
  • Ensure that all resources have relevant and up-to-date CVs with clear skill areas highlighted
  • Ensure compliance to meet operational requirements (i.e. timely submissions and approvals of timesheets and expenses)
  • Support and ensure the external resource compliance process is managed, including PO’s (external resources include offshore, nearshore, and contractors).
