Job Description

  • You will manage the product(s) and business case portfolio targeting the US and Canadian market, and co-ordinate Product Management activities
  • You will build engagement with Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Solution Consulting customers and independent market sources
  • You are responsible for defining the functional product roadmap, collaborating with management on product strategy and business use cases
  • Create business requirements documentation and lead and maintain prioritization across all business requirements
  • Responsible for ensuring that product solutions meet customer business requirements/market requirements during development, in close coordination with Engineering and Quality Management
  • Plan and execute on creating appropriate pre-sales material in close cooperation with Product Marketing
  • Support Product Marketing interacting with key external customers, partners and events to maximize adoption.
  • Represent business stakeholders as senior member of the Product team for one or more functional areas for the North American market
  • Work directly with internal/external stakeholders to refine the roadmap for the targeted markets
  • Identify and map the regulatory changes and requirements for the given market
  • Accountable for market acceptance of solutions in assigned functional areas without compromise to product integrity, scalability, and maintainability
  • Partner with the others to plan the commitment for product increments, manage development and delivery of features according to plan, and provide business with estimates for broad scope roadmap initiatives
  • Build out and manage feature backlog, balancing priorities of these business requirements with technical feasibility and scalability
  • Coordinate feature delivery with other agile teams, identifying project inter-dependencies and work with other Product Managers/Owners to determine the most efficient and elegant solution sequence to deliver the features
  • Prioritize and drive sound business decisions during delivery of a product increment
  • Triage defect queue for assigned functional areas with client support and drive defect resolution with engineering teams according to SLA
  • Coordinate delivery of sprint reviews and presentations to key customers/stakeholders and senior management to elicit feedback on the product increment

Qualifications

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in relevant field.
  • 2+ years experience in a similar position in relevant field.
  • You have leadership experience with Product Management, Product Marketing and/ or software development and services related to business software.
  • You have experience with mobile and/or cloud or SaaS products. 
  • You have proven experience in executing multiple simultaneous Product Management projects
  • You have excellent communication skills, and can articulate business benefits to top management level, domain experts, software architects, consultants and customers.
  • You have a commercial mindset
  • Experience of ERP Systems would be a key differentiator
  • You a have excellent English writing and verbal skills. The ability to communicate and write in French would be a key differentiator.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Effective relationship builder-ability to partner cross-functionally, cross-enterprise and work effectively with various levels of the organisation as well as various personality types.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-moving work environment with a positive attitude and solid work ethic.
  • Understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
  • Technical acumen with a keen understanding of broader business needs and strategy.
  • Exposure to working in a large organisation with many stakeholders.
  • A passion for digital innovation and commitment to superb client experience.
