About the Role
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our fast-growing User Experience team. The right candidate will be able to translate business needs into customer-focused solutions and understand and advocate for our customers. The User Experience team has a special role in building understanding and empathy for customers at a global level. You will champion product design and implementation for a domain area, facilitate design discussions with Product and Engineering teams, and lead the consolidation of concepts and solutions.
Transforming ideas, business opportunities, research insights and UX vision into desirable outcomes for our customers.
Creating detailed wireframes, information architecture diagrams, mental models, prototypes and site maps.
Building positive, collaborative relationships with product management, engineering, and the broader UX team.
Working closely with other UX Designers and disciplines (I.e., UX Research, Product Management, Content Design, Engineering) to brainstorm and create concepts across multiple platforms (e.g., mobile, tablet and desktop environments).
Running design thinking workshops and helping to guide, improve, and implement design and feedback processes.
Driving adoption of best practices and standards across teams; share these with peers and stakeholders to drive cross-team alignment.
Creating solutions that demonstrate knowledge of the capabilities and constraints of the technology stack.
Being an active mentor for junior designers, and helping lead critique, design reviews, and quarterly planning.
Minimum 6+ years of relevant product design experience.
Degree in Design, HCI, visual communication or another relevant field.
Expert knowledge of the end-to-end iterative UX product design process, including how to develop and use personas, JTBD, journey mapping, content modelling, wireframing and prototyping, user testing, and high-fidelity visuals.
Deep experience with driving and applying user-centered design processes while working with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and UX research to synthesize feedback and input.
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences and varying levels of the organization. You help your team and stakeholders understand the “why” behind your design rationale.
