We have a fantastic opportunity within Unit4 for a Service Desk Engineer to join us on a remote basis, in Canada.
Place in the organization
The Process Manager is part of the Internal Services reporting to the ITSM Team lead.
Purpose of the function
Coordinating, monitoring, testing, optimizing and executing management and processes regarding incidents, changes and configuration management. Create, draft and automate relevant management reports to stakeholders. Taking into account the applicable service level agreements with the customers in order to ensure optimized processes and adequate management and execution of the aforementioned processes so that incidents, changes and problems are dealt with in a timely and correct manner resulting in a satisfied customer and internal department.
In addition, the process manager will communicate about changes and P1 incidents with the end user and other departments within Cloud Ops &IT.
The configuration management role has also the responsibility for maintaining information about Configuration Items required to deliver IT services. To this end to maintain a logical model, containing the components of the IT infrastructure (CIs) and their associations.
The position is Global (remote) and is carried out in day shift but has a standby role for P1 situations during OOO time.
1. Support and optimize the configuration management, access management and knowledge management processes and ensuring data quality
2. Support and optimize the change management process by recording of processes and procedures and managing the process with external and internal vendors to ensure that changes are communicated and been executed without issues.
3. Support and optimize all other processes like incident, problem, change management etc.
1. Minimum 1 year of professional experience working in ITSM and CMDB Management
2. Prior experience working with the ServiceNow tool
3. Analytical skills
4. Excellence understanding of the English language in words, writing and listening.
5. Be able to work independently but also in a team, self-driving person
6. Critical mind and always looking for improvement of processes
7. Flexible and doesn’t mind to assist in multiple area’s
Nice to have:
·Experience in IT infrastructure and IT network fields
·Ability to configure and implement new features in the ITSM tool
·ITIL Foundation Certification
