Job Description

The CTO Quality team is working on unifying the Quality Process among the CTO organization. Defining a standard approach to quality assurance, our test automation strategy, quality gates and selected tools. These are essential pre-steps to allow us moving into a continuous delivery model without compromising the required levels of Quality.

We are looking for candidates who want to join the CTO Quality team and help us to accomplish our mission.

As a Test automation engineer you will establish best practices together with other members of the CTO Quality team, ensuring that Quality is an integral part of all the Unit4 projects, processes, and products, keeping a special focus on ERP.

You will participate in the definition of the automation strategy, by developing, rolling out, maintaining, and promoting our test automation framework, best practices, and standards.

You will monitor the adoption of test automation across teams to ensure that our processes are being followed.

You will represent Quality towards people across the whole Unit4 product portfolio with different roles and levels in the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and maintenance of the Test automation framework
  • Define and implement tools and methodology for monitoring and reporting
  • Define, implement, and improve best practices
  • Support and training of teams to design, develop and implement test automation solutions
  • Create and review guidelines
  • Monitor and perform maintenance of pipelines and environments related to test automation
  • Define and improve our automation strategy together with the Test automation architect
  • Promote quality and create awareness of the crucial role of automated testing in a DevOps culture

Qualifications

Candidates for this position should meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, HR, management or similar
  • Experience in quality assurance, software development, product, or IT
  • Knowledge of automation tools, languages, and frameworks
  • Experience with the maintenance of automated testing tools and infrastructure
  • Solution oriented, structured, and able to work independently with the ability to drive results
  • Proactive mindset, with attention to detail but also the ability to maintain a holistic viewpoint and contribute on a strategic level
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Experience in working according to the Scrum Agile Methodology
