The Sales Enablement Management is a key member of the Global Sales Operations team, instrumental in helping us develop and deliver on our growth plans across our global organization. A proven leader responsible for driving sales enablement while helping to deliver an extraordinary customer and channel partner experience through sales methodology, planning and enablement.

You will work closely with Regional Presidents and COOs to deliver the enablement their teams need and will often be one of the first contacts new recruits will turn to with questions.

This is a highly visible and leadership role based in a location dependent on the recruit’s home location, reporting to the VP Global Head of Sales Operations, who is based in the Netherlands.

What you will do

Sales Enablement

  • Craft and lead an enablement framework that aligns with and goes beyond the Unit4 bespoke Sales Methodology and the core skills needed across roles to improve sales productivity and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Youniversity team (HR training) to deliver, program manage and execute the global sales enablement plan.
  • Ensure that the program incorporates product, solutions, operations and sales contributions coupled with simple and practical adoption techniques (including market segmentation, value stories, and competitive messaging) to increase productivity.
  • Continuously improve the program with creative learning opportunities (customer needs, ability to spot opportunities, business value, close and renewals) for new and existing sales professionals within the Unit4 Information Hub.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts in support of product (including roadmaps) and solution offerings to ensure readiness.
  • Further develop and lead all elements of Unit4’s onBoading process for sales and sales-related functions, including program development, content management, organization & execution of live training sessions 

Unit4 bespoke Sales Methodology

  • Work with sales, product, marketing and operations leaders to develop Unit4 bespoke customer experience focused sales methodology that drives improvements in customer satisfaction, reduced churn, increased revenue and predictability, and greater employee satisfaction.
  • Work with sales leadership to develop territory plan approaches for high volume and inside sales teams to capture market opportunity
  • Assess the needs of the sales teams globally and introduce a program of necessary sales skills varying by need/region
  • Establish and lead the implementation of short- and long-term customer acquisition, adoption and retention strategies to deliver sales related goals and programs
  • Collaborate across functional teams to ensure that methodology and strategy efforts support objectives but also incorporate clarity and simplicity to optimize execution

One to One and One to Many

  • Work directly with Sales teams and reps to keep them up-to-date on the latest at Unit4 – via Webinars, Video training, face-to-face events and email, support the sales team with providing them what they need to be successful in their role.

Your profile

  • 5-7+ years of demonstrated field sales success (field sales management experience a plus)
  • 1+ years of operations management including but not limited to field productivity and marketing
  • Comprehensive understanding of the IT market, products, software, SaaS software and services
  • Experience working with software sales teams to build strategy, management, execution based programs
  • Keen understanding of sales process design and related outcomes
  • Ideal candidate will have current knowledge regarding new technologies and trends related to the markets Unit4 competes
  • Demonstrated strategic planning skills, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to stand in front of a group and inspire them to learn
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product, marketing and finance teams, to create impact
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
  • Organized and able to drive/manage projects
  • Creative and strategic thinker
  • English (fluency- written and oral) + 1 additional European foreign language
